Njabulo Mhlungu is a graduate of NWU, having completed her BEng in Industrial Engineering. She is currently employed at Exxaro Coal as a Professional-In-Training while pursuing her Masters at NWU. Njabulo brings a unique blend of determination and levity to her work and excels in environments where diligence meets positivity. Constantly energizing teams to push boundaries through innovation. With a talent for optimizing processes and inspiring others, she fosters a collaborative atmosphere where success is not just achieved, but celebrated. Njabulu is a SAIIE Council Member responsible for Student Affairs.

Prof Teresa Hattingh is a registered professional Engineer and the current SAIIE President. She is passionate about industrial engineering and committed to SAIIE and ECSA's drives towards professionalising industrial engineering in South Africa. She further believes that every industrial engineer has the power to change the world and the responsibility to make a difference. Teresa is actively involved in engineering education research and is the current chair of the Research in Engineering Education (REEN) board. She is currently working as an engineering education specialist in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment at the University of Johannesburg.

Eward Rukobo is a Professionally registered Industrial Engineering Technologist. He boasts years of experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean & Agile proven in different environments. He has worked in the Automotive; Mining; FMCG; Pharmaceutical; Management Consulting and has consulted for logistics and supply chain industries. He is currently a Continuous Improvement Partner at A.P Moller-Maersk in the IMEA region.

An avid learner Eward holds an Industrial Engineering degree (UJ), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (UKZN), an MBA (UKZN) and PhD Industrial Engineering (UJ Candidate). He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSBB) holder. He also holds other technical and leadership certificates such as Agile Leadership, Advanced Risk Management, Data Analytics, Advanced Operations and Advanced Project Management.

Fun fact: Eward can fluently communicate in at least 16 different languages.
