Mduduzi Msibi is an ECSA registered Professional Engineering Technologists since 2009 who holds master’s in engineering from University of Witwatersrand and Bachelor of Technology degree from Durban University of Technology. He has previously worked for Eskom in various departments and positions from 2001 to 2019 with experience in power plant operation, electrical network control, network planning and design, project Management and customer service. From 2019 , he has been with MISA where he is supporting municipalities in various technical aspects of distributing electricity to customers as well as procurement and integration of renewable energy.
Mduduzi is also part of the ECSA virtual panel responsible for assessing applications, moderating applications and interviewing applicants for registration with ECSA in the category of Professional Technologists and Professional Technicians in the electrical discipline. His involvement with ECSA registration dates back to 2015. He also serves as the member of the Identification of Engineering Work (IDoEW) National Workgroup, assists in reviewing ECSA standards and policies and is part of the ECSA accreditation team responsible for accreditation of programs in various institutions of higher learning.
