SAIIE invites you to the announcement of the winning team of the 2024 SAIIE Student Competition. Participants had to submit solutions for: Mitigating the impact of climate change or minimising the root causes of climate change in South Africa.
The prize for the winning team includes all inclusive attendance of the SAIIE34 Annual Conference at The Riverside Sun Hotel, Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng held from 14 - 16 October 2024. The top three teams will be asked to share overviews of their solution and the winning team will be announced shortly thereafter.
The top three teams in alphabetical order are:
- EcoEngineer: WITS (Duduzile Mlaba)
- Ecologix: WITS (Lebajoa Mphaloane & Munyadziwa Tsireledzo)
- Innovators: DUT (Sethembele Ngobese & Sinethezeke Zondo)
